INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups seedless golden raisins
  • 1 cup whole canned tomatoes with juice
  • 5 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 2 fresh red chiles, seeded and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) red plum jam
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 PLACE first 7 ingredients in food processor or blender; cover. Process to form a smooth paste, scraping sides occasionally.
  • 2 MIX raisin mixture, plum jam, pineapple juice and brown sugar in medium saucepan on medium heat. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low; simmer 20 minutes. Store in airtight sterilized jars.
  • 3 Makes 3 1/2 cups.
